After the 15 Malaysian Food Blogs I read post , I think it’s the time I mention the famous Penangite that I know of.

Below is the list and feel free to add on in the comment…

1. Tun Abdullah Ahmad Badawi, the Malaysia’s fifth Prime Minister.

2. Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim, the current opposition leader who is very charismatic.

3. Tun Dato’ Seri Dr. Lim Chong Eu, the former Chief Minister of Penang from 1969 to 1990.

4. Nicol David, the current Women’s squash world champion.

5. Datuk Lee Chong Wei, the No.1 badminton player in the world.

6. Eddy Choong, the all time famous badminton player.

7. Jimmy Choo, the famous shoe designer that every lady wants to own.

8. Lillian Too, feng shui consultant who owns wofs.com

9. P.Ramlee, the legendary actor and singer and director.

10. Tan Sri Dato’ Loh Boon Siew, the first person to bring Honda motor to Penang.

hey guys, u forgotten there one important person you guys missed out lah !!! KSK Our former CM he contributed a lots man yes or no?? Building lots of Castles in the air or Building his own pockets ….hehehehe. nothing he build ka?? … after 18 years as Penang CM, give him some credit lah … how about our Penang Bridge ???

I think you really forgotten someone really special for our penangite ……. not other then the Alley cat – a famous band still playing until the present days…. u remember??

Hey Sam Yeap,
Oh I think we has forgotten someone very important to us and even to our future generations to come, in fact this is already written in our Penang History Book, the only problem is we always keep forgetting, he is our 1st CM Tan Sri Wong Pow Nee – from ( 1957 After merdeka until 1969 ) so every one of us out there please do not forget our history, and he also came from the party which represent the chinese in Penang which is ” MCA “
