Petrol price increase to RM 2.70 per litre

Oh my goodness. I just read the news that petrol price will go up by 78 sen from midnight onwards. That is RM 2.70 per litre compared to RM 1.92 per litre previously.
According to Malaysiakini,
“Under the scheme, vehicles below 2000cc will receive a RM625 rebate annually - to compensate for 800 litres of fuel used [...]
