Yesterday, I spent most of the time sharing my knowledge – 8 years of valuable experiences. Yeah.. I know, I keep saying 8 years. 8 years. 8 years.
I really value those 8 years in the company. That’s why I’m a bit sad though excited of what’s in store for me in the future.
Today, it’s the same thing but a bit busy as I need to share more and ensure everything is ok. I want to do as much as I can before I left.
Just like the past 4 days, today I have farewell lunch as well. This time in QB Mall.
My ex-boss joined in – the 3rd time for him. For this, I really appreciate him. We have up and down moments before. We argued before. We were mad with each other before but our maturity makes sure our work issues stay within the office area only. After that, life goes on. We laugh, we yell and we eat together. For this, my hat off to him.
Though just left one day, there are still plenty of things on my table. Time is running out for me to clean the desk, to follow up on the emails, to forward all relevant info to the next person and etc. I thought I will have more time as days goes by but it seems that I have more things to clear comes tomorrow.
On the other hand, I truly appreciate the people who gave me gifts this evening. I feel so touched by their gesture. I’m very fortunate to work with them for the past 4 years in the department.
I may not see them that often but they will always in my mind.
