When I was on the tuk tuk from Siem Reap airport heading to the town, I noticed there were a lot of big and nice hotels along the road. People called it the airport road. These hotels are not for the backpackers but for those that want to enjoy their life in 3 to 5 star hotels.

As for me, I prefer Bou Savy Guesthouse- a good place to stay in siem reap which provides a very clean room, nice environment with tip top service!
