As a Penangite, I’m still skeptical of what’s in store for Penang from the newly installed Prime Minister, Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak.
So far, he has released 13 detainees from ISA detention, lift up the ban on two opposition news publications – PKR’s Suara Keadilan and PAS’ Harakah, promised to conduct a comprehensive review of the Internal Security Act and urge for One Malaysia.
It’s a good start but then…
Let us be cautious of the positive start from Najib. After all, Tun Abdullah as a Penangite didn’t do much for Penang (except maybe for Kepala Batas town).
Yeah…I’m still skeptical of Najib but was hoping for Lim Guan Eng to do his best for Penang.

I’ve been following closely the progress of malaysia politic’s news even more after the 308 election! I am shocked when i knew that the opposition has captured a few state and some of the politic’s heavy weight has fallen! immediately i told myself malaysia are for changes….a more mature & daring voters! at least they voiced out their disappointment through the ballot box! On and off there are surprises from the both side and some are good but mostly are bad news! Scandalous politician is still holding power……even worse some politician is linking so some very high profile scandal! Somehow what i would lessen hope happened…….Mr.KJ won the youth chief and Mr.N become the nation 6th PM! From that point of view…..i knew we are facing or indeed waiting for the disaster to happen! Only wish the aftermath is not that bad after all! Even Mr.Obama San can’t do much about his own nation…….Mr.N is way too weak to pull us through this recession period even though he keep denying that Malaysia are in the recession! I wonder what’s in store for U…one of the penangties and me one of the “pendatang” as claimed by some sort of out of mind politician! get your life malaysian….It’s time to really think of our nation future….ur kid’s future….! Too sad to be true….we have gone from bad to worse…even worse now with him directing us to the “HELL”. I am speechless….!
