Hi everyone, I am back from shopping spree in Bandung – it’s getting more popular among Malaysians. Thanks to AirAsia.
The last time I had fun in Bandung was in May where my friends and I stayed for a night in Grand Serela. This time, I brought another bunch of friends to stay there for 2 night in Grand Serela too.
Compared to last time this round itinerary is a bit different. Let me show you the previous trip travel itinerary follows by last week trip travel itinerary.
30th April 2008
Arrived at Jakarta at 22.40pm and head to Tanggerang where we slept in my friend’s father’s house.
1st May 2008
Departed to Bandung in the morning. We visited Tangkuban Perahu followed by Ciater Hot Spring and shopping at the factory outlets in Jalan Riau – mainly Heritage, Terminal Tas, Summit and Men’s Wear.
At night, have massage and spa at Grand Serela.
2nd May 2008
Continue shopping at Rumah Mode in Jalan Setiabudi and head to Jakarta in the evening. Overnight at Tanggerang. (We were supposed to go to Taman Safari at Punchak and Bogor but we run out of time due to shopping in Bandung ).
3rd May 2008
Departed to Central Jakarta. Stay at Le Margot Hotel at Jalan Jaksa, near to Gambir Train Station and Monas. Shopping at Tanah Abang and Mangga Dua ITC. At night went Milles Discotheque, EX Plaza and past by Sarinah Store and Hard Rock Cafe.
4th May 2008
Rent a jeep to Bogor and Taman Safari in Punchak. Return to Le Margot for a good night sleep.
5th May 2008
In the morning, went to Taman Mini Indonesia before head back to our hotel. Arrived in Penang at 10.30pm.

24th Oct 2008
Arrive at Jakarta Airport at 2.30am the next day due to flight delay. Overnight at the airport. Find a good spot at Mc.Donald outlet to rest before pack our bag and sleep inside the terminal area.
25th Oct 2008
Depart from Jakarta Airport at 6am. Stop over at rest area for breakfast around 7.30am. Arrived in Bandung town at 9am. Straight head to Tangkuban Perahu. Unfortunately, it was raining heavily the moment we stepped out from our car but it stopped immediately after we left. Sigh!
Pass thru a so-called Kebun Bunga area where flowers are plant in front of every houses. Proceed to Kampung Daun for lunch. The environment is very nice but the foods are not up to the standard.
Check into Grand Serela at 3pm. Go to Merdeka Outlet then head to Paris Van Java at 4.30pm. Reach Secret Factory Outlet- the latest FO at Jalan Riau at 8pm. Continue our window shopping to Terminal Tas, Summit, Oasis and Heritage. Nothing much to buy at these factory outlets. Walk back to our hotel after that.
26th Oct 2008
Start the shopping spree from 9am onwards. Head to Rumah Mode – the most famous FO, follows by Mode Plus and Donatello at Jalan Setiabudi. Proceed to Cihampelas Walk and window shopping at the outlets along the road.
After Cihampelas, we attack Grande FO, Donatello(again) and Victoria FO at Jalan Dago before go to Kartika Sari. Take dinner at Karapitan opposite Bandung Indah Plaza. Karapitan is awarded Indonesia Super Brand. The foods’ taste really match up to the award given. A must try if you are in Bandung.
Left Karapitan at 8.45pm for Grand Serela to pack our bag before tomorrow departure.

Buy cookies and brownies at Kartika Sari and grab T-Shirt with Bandung scenery before head to Jakarta to fly back to Penang
wah… I really envy you can travel to so many places, I really hope to be like you can go anywhere, everywhere.
