Just finished watch men’s single final for 2008 Olympics between Lee Chong Wei and Lin Dan. The match was won by Lin Dan from China.

In my opinions, throughout the match Lin Dan was full of confident while Chon Wei was a bit nervous and paid too much respect to Lin Dan. Anyway, my hat off to Chong Wei for coming this close. And I thanks him for the silver medal he won for Malaysia in this Olympics. All of us, felt proud of him!

As for Lin Dan, I admired him for his self confident, sure win attitude and excellent skills in winning the match. In fact, I shed some tears for him after the match. He really shown me the attitude of a person who has confident and really want to win at all cost.

I have never seen someone like him for a very long time. Full of power, confident, motivated, skilful and very fast. He taught me to have confident for myself. It is the inner energy that will drives everyone to succeed. It is the energy that keep us going.

There is no doubt I learnt a lot from the match between Chong Wei and Lin Dan. This match inspired me to really have confident with myself in whatever things I do. I can ‘see’ I’m still lack the energy. Sometimes, I lacked the confident and all out attitude to achieve what I want. I give up too easily but I hope from today onwards, this match will change me completely and for the rest of my life, I will always remember this match.
